While The Crazy Mason’s Greenville location hasn’t opened yet, Danielle got a taste in Myrtle Beach + can’t wait to sip on the over-the-top ice cream creations when the milkshake spot opens across from Fluor Field at the West End. 🥤 Kyle’s pick: Clare’s Creamery, 1635 E. North St. If it’s made with Clare’s small-batch ice cream, like the Honey Vanilla, you know it’s going to be creamy and full of flavor. |

Just across Briarcliff Drive + Overbrook Road from Harry’s, Clayton’s Deli and The Pound Cake Man (1628 E. North St.) are open for business starting today, Tues., July 26, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Try one of Clayton’s Hot Sandos, like the “Bad Mother Clucker” with a slice of pound cake for dessert.

A #DrinkUpGreenville drink special featured in Forbes? Yes please. Southernside Brewing Co. landed on this list of “20 delicious cocktails to enjoy on National Tequila Day,” which was Sun., July 24. Traffic -
Greenville’s traffic lights are getting a new feature. By July 2023, all 203 lights in the city will include uninterruptible power supplies + battery backups to keep the lights on even if the power goes out.
Development
SunCap, a commercial real estate developer, broke ground on Greenville County’s largest spec industrial development. Enterprise 85, located on 140 acres at 7755 Augusta Rd., is a 1,000,000+ sqft development + offers future tenants a convenient location near I-85.
Along with developing 22 custom homesites, a local Hollingsworth Park resident and real estate developer, Babcock Investment Company, plans to dedicate three acres to The Pool at Hollingsworth Park (think: a saltwater pool, outdoor patio + more). The call for entries is now open for the 19th annual Artisphere festival. Artists can apply now for a chance to participate. If you’re like us and you can’t wait to peruse the tents and bring home some art, mark your calendars for May 12-14, 2023.
- YARDWORK, an outdoor art exhibition, is on display now in the Hampton-Pinckney neighborhood in downtown Greenville through Fri.,Sept.2. The show, currently in its second year, features works like sculptures, installation + prints on vinyl in front of 16 homes. (Greenville Journal)

Furman University is kicking off the fall athletic season with Furman Fan Fest on Sat., Aug. 20 at Paladin Stadium. Fans can enjoy live music + food trucks, and the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Furman athletes before the main event inside the stadium at 5 p.m.

The first play of The Greenville Drive’s Sun., July 24 game against the Aberdeen IronBirds earned The Drive some national attention.
Phillip Sike’s diving catch in the outfield took the No. 2 spot on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10.
Despite falling 7-5 to the IronBirds, Phillip had a good game on the other side of the ball too, with a home run in the fourth inning.
