Hello Wednesday. April 24 2024 Windsor Aughtry Company confirmed last week that it’s bringing O-Ku Sushi + Indaco Italian Food & Wine to the space currently occupied by Rick Erwin’s Nantucket Seafood, along with Charleston’s Indigo Road Hospitality Group. A look at the potential outdoor bar | Rendering by David Thompson Architect for Windsor Aughtry Company “Windsor Aughtry Company is very excited about partnering with the Indigo Road Hospitality Group to bring O-Ku, Indaco, and an outdoor bar venue to the Main and Broad restaurant space. There’s still a great deal of work to be done, and we will have full details coming Q1 2022,” said Kirk Crawford, Asset Manager and Developer for Windsor Aughtry Company. Though we won’t have specifics until January, we do know that the current 7,600-sqft space at Main Street and Broad Street will be divided to accommodate the two restaurants.
Indaco, with locations in Charleston and Charlotte, specializes in rustic Italian cuisine, with menu items like Ziti alla Buttera — featuring house made pasta with Keegan pork sausage ragu, San Marzano tomato, cream, peas, basil + parmesan (okay, we’re drooling). 🍝
O-Ku, with seven locations across the southeast from Jacksonville Beach to Washington, D.C., serves up authentic Asian cuisine with a “southern approach.” One sushi roll on its Charleston menu has our interest piqued: the Surf & Turf, with Wagyu beef, tempura shrimp, avocado, microgreens, potato crisps, and a balsamic reduction (you had us at Wagyu). 🍣
Where is Rick Erwin’s Nantucket Seafood going? And what about Ice On Main?
At this point, we don’t yet have answers to these questions. But, we’ll be sure to update this post and our social channels as we continue to learn more about this development.
Sushi or Italian? You don’t have to choose (yet), but go ahead + share with your friends to start planning which spot to hit first.

Editor's Pick: Kyle, here. Like so many if us in SC, I'm half of a house divided: I went to UofSC, and my husband went to Clemson. While I'm supportive of the Tigers when the Gamecocks aren't playing them, I was loud + proud for a Gamecock win on Saturday. Though we lost 30-0, it was still a great game. Here's looking at you, 2022 season. 🏈
