Every morning more than 64,363 of you have invited us into your inbox. And each day we do our very best to provide you with the timely, relevant info so you can get the most out of our great city. Sometimes that means we have to go investigate the newest rooftop bar, the latest city council news, or what's going on with that downtown development everyone is talking about. It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.
Today we are asking you to take 2 minutes to tell us a little more about yourself. Just 2 minutes. The line to get a morning latte takes longer than that. Feel free to skip any questions you don’t want to answer. We don’t want to pry. (Okay, we do, but just a little bit.)

Meet Brody Glenn — a GVL native, University of South Carolina alumnus, President of Centennial American Properties, and the visionary behind Camperdown.
Camperdown includes the AC Hotel, ft. hot spots Paloma and Juniper, plus the neighboring restaurant CAMP, apartments, condos, and more.

- 2,977. That’s the number of flags Bob Jones University has put out for display on their campus to honor the 2,977 people who lost their lives on 9/11 20 years ago. In addition to the flags, there will be 2 beacon lights to represent the 2 World Trade Center towers that fell that day, plus a “wall of remembrance” which will feature the names of the 2,977 people who died. - A new exhibit is coming soon to the Upcountry History Museum: “The Soldier Bishop: Ellison Capers.” The exhibit will highlight the life of Rev. Ellison Capers, who fought in the Civil War and graduated from The Citadel. The exhibit will be on display from Sept. 18-Feb. 27. (Greenville Journal)
